A free gym with internet access and views of the runway has opened at Estonia’s Tallinn Airport.
Fitness club operator MyFitness plans to introduce “additional features over the coming months” in what it claims is the the first airport gym of its kind in Europe.
Located by Gate 6 in the departures area of Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, the gym has a treadmill, cross trainer, rowing machine, exercise bike and a staircase trainer, all equipped with a screen and connected to the internet.
There are also four specialist training machines for feet, shoulders, chest and back exercises, plus a stretch area.
Tarmo Mutso, director of the Estonian Tourist Board, said: “We place great importance on looking after our visitors to Estonia and this begins the moment they land in our country.”
