Imaginative Traveller has introduced what it claims is the UK’s first-ever mystery tour for 2009 – offering a secret itinerary to anyone brave enough to sign up.
The adventure travel specialist is offering the top secret 14-night tour for £2,099 including flights.
Departing on June 20 2009, there are only 15 places and bookings are on a first-come first-served basis. The tour went on sale on Wednesday.
Clients will book the adventure-based trip with no details, other than the departure airport, information about what to pack and any necessary jabs.
Once the trip begins, the clients will remain none the wiser as to what next is in store.
Imaginative Traveller publications co-ordinator Helene Cooper said: “We launched this tour in the spirit of old-fashioned travel. The problem with modern travel is that we know everything about the trip before we get there. This mystery tour is a risk for us and a risk for the clients booking. It’s the first time a UK operator has offered such a tour so it’s really exciting.”
