n manx increases capacity from luton
Manx Airlines has increased the number of seats available between London Luton and the Isle of Man by upgrading the service to a jet operation. From November 1, the airline is operating a 95-seat BAe146 on the route Sunday to Friday. The Saturday service continues with a 68-seat ATP turboprop. Fares lead in at £79 return.
n newcastle sees numbers rise by 15%
Newcastle Airport has reported a 15% increase in passengers travelling to Paris, to 68,284, in the year ended September 30. Numbers to Amsterdam rose 5% to 204,900, while Brussels traffic grew 11% to 125,457.

British Airways franchise Maersk Air has added a midday flight from Birmingham to Amsterdam Monday to Friday, taking the number of weekday flights to five a day, with three on weekends.
