Worldchoice Cruise Club members will have access to funds to price-match against rivals and will be able to dynamically package cruise holidays for the first time.
The 45-strong club also unveiled plans to launch its own brochured cruise programme for groups.
The group, which aims to have as many as 65 members by early next year, this week announced it had ring-fenced £10,000 to allow members to price-match. Members will be able to advertise the service in shop windows but will not be expected to use the option proactively.
Worldchoice head of sales and marketing Helen Talbot said: “One of the barriers in selling cruise is that agents feel shackled by not being able to compete on price.”
Meanwhile, a cruise ATOL will be provided through the Travel Trust Association within the first half of next year, allowing agents to dynamically package cruise holidays.
