Jet2.com increases its hold baggage allowance by 30%

Jet2.com will increase its hold baggage allowance by 30% to 22kg on all flights from April next year.

The airline claims it is now offering the most generous allowance of all leisure airlines.

Jet2.com chief executive Philip Meeson said: “Allowing our passengers to travel with 22kg of hold baggage means that they now have room to pack that extra outfit, or can leave space to bring home even more souvenirs from their travels.”

The move follows the Co-operative Travel’s call for airlines to increase their allowance for families travelling with infants.
