AmaWaterways has offered every travel agent attending Clia’s River Cruise Conference a free sailing next year.
Jamie Loizou, AmaWaterways sales director, took to the stage on Saturday at the Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre to reveal the news to a packed conference hall filled with nearly 300 delegates.
He told Travel Weekly: “We decided to offer it because we feel that the best way for people to sell river cruises is to experience the product and properly understand it.
“We felt it was a really important thing for us to do. We value the travel agents who sell our cruises. We want to invest in them and showcase our ships at the same time.”
Travel agents who attended the conference must contact the AmaWaterways reservation team on AmaRes-Intl@amawaterways.com to claim their seven-night cruise for two people in Europe.
