Duke’s Court Travel and CheapOair appoint new UK director

Business travel firm Duke’s Court Travel and CheapOair.co.uk have appointed Anuradha Mudalige as UK director

He steps up to the role from the position of brand manager within the businesses, both part of the Fareportal Group.

Mudalige has more than 22 years of travel experience, including eight years managing operations at SriLankan Airlines.

He has been with Fareportal since 2003 managing its travel operations and supplier partnership activities.,

Duke’s Court Travel – which marks 30 years of trading in 2017 – will continue to focus on expanding its client base, both online and via its base in London’s Chiswick High Road.

Fareportal founder and CEO Sam Jain said: “Having spent over 14 years working across Fareportal’s brands, Mudalige knows the travel business inside out.

“We are therefore confident that he is the perfectly placed to lead our Duke’s Court Travel and CheapOair businesses into their next phase as we look to bring our range of travel and event management solutions to an even wider audience.”

Mudalige said: “We have great dedicated teams who ensure travellers benefit from the preferential airline and hotel rates associated with our global parent business and I’m proud to be heading them up.”
