Travel Weekly has won an award for best B2B industry media communication at the British Travel Awards.
In total 72 awards were handed out, with 21 presented on stage at last night’s cereomony at Battersea Evolution.
The winner of the large retailer of the year was Thomas Cook, with Thomson taking the silver award. Thomson won large tour operator of the year and Olympic Holidays won specialist tour operator of the year.
All winners, runners-up and nominees will be listed in the Sunday Times supplement of the UK’s Top Travel Companies in February 2009.
