Eaton Hotels – a subsidiary of Langham Hotels – has announced plans for five new projects in China, the Middle East and India by 2010.
Cities targeted include Beijing, Shanghai, Bangalore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The announcement follows an $18 million rebranding of the Eaton Hotel in Hong Kong.
Langham Hotels vice president for sales and marketing Bob van den Oord said: “The Eaton concept is aimed squarely at the road warrior who spends 85% of his time on work and 15% on play.
“Its core essence is to maximise operational efficiencies while standing out from the crowd with a simply-designed functionality, the highest level of comfort and outstanding service.”
