A new low-fare air service between the UK and Corsica is poised to take off this spring.
Air Corsica plans to start flights from Stansted to Ajaccio, Bastia and Figari.
Up to nine flights a week are scheduled during peak months following the the arrival of the airline’s sixth Airbus A320.
Fares start at £49 one-way including free seat selection, newspapers, magazines, snacks and drinks as well as 23kg of luggage.
Air Corsica has appointed APG as its GSA in the UK and Ireland to provide sales and marketing support as well as ticketing and reservations services.
Air Corsica, code XK, is a member of BSP UK and ticketable via GDS.
Founded in 1989, the airline operates a fleet of 12 aircraft on 33 routes constituting more than half of the flights to Corsica.
