Cosmos is introducing a year‑long giveaway that will see one agent every month win a raft of prizes worth hundreds of pounds.

The competition, run in conjunction with Travel Weekly, will include prizes such as concert tickets, short breaks, spa days and meal vouchers.

One agent in January will win Little Mix concert tickets; a spa day for two including treatments and Prosecco; meal vouchers; and cinema tickets for one.

It is the first time the operator has run a trade incentive of this size and follows Cosmos’s rebrand last year, its new bookable trade portal, dedicated agency sales telephone number and expanded on-the-road sales team.

Sales director Janet Parton said: “We have done ad hoc incentives but never one on this scale and we hope this will appeal to frontline agents of all ages and push Cosmos out to a wider audience.

“We have massively changed the way we work with agents in the last year and we wanted to thank agents for all their support, not just during the peak booking period but all year.

“This incentive should give us the opportunity to work with agents we might not work with normally.”

The more bookings made, the more chances there are of winning.

The operator is focusing on experiences as giveaways based on trade feedback.

At the start of each month one agent will be chosen to win the previous month’s bundle of prizes, and the following month’s prizes will be revealed.
