Former Freedom Flights and Medlifehotels sales and marketing director Phil Norris has joined A2B Transfers.com as its new sales director.
Norris will be focusing on growing the proportion of sales that the transfer company receives through agents. The trade already accounts for around 60% of its sales.
He added: “This new position represents a very exciting opportunity and brings together an excellent online product which has still enormous potential with the travel trade.
“This business has a range of online solutions for all parts of the industry to assist companies capitalise on their ancillary sales opportunities.
”I have always been a great supporter of travel agents and our business model is designed to ensure that all types and sizes of agents have the opportunity to work with us and increase their commission earnings.”
A2B Transfers chief executive Renaldo Scheepers added: “2008 has been a fantastic year for us but we cannot afford to sit back. By bringing Phil on board we now have someone with extensive industry knowledge and experience with a number of major UK travel companies which will help take us even further.
