Terms and conditions – Malta Tourist Authority Fam Trip

This prize draw is only open to Eligible Participants. An Eligible Participant is a UK resident, aged 18 or over and who is not an employee of Malta Tourist Authority, Travel Weekly, Hilton Malta or Easyjet, or a member of their family and has not previously won a trip to Malta with the Malta Tourist Authority. By taking part in this promotion, Eligible Participants confirm that they accept the terms and conditions set out below. To enter the competition please answer the competition question.

Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the winner agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Entries that are received after the competition closing date 2 February 2018 will not be counted. No responsibility will be taken for lost, damaged or illegible entries. No third party entries will be accepted. Proof of delivery is not proof of receipt.

The prize is one of 10 places on a Malta Tourist Authority fam trip to Malta. The ten winners will be drawn at random and notified by email. The winners must accept the prize within two days of notification by replying to the notification email. Within these two days the winners must also send their passport details and booking details to confirm the flight. If the winner does not confirm their intention to claim the prize within this time, a supplementary winner will be selected from the remaining entries at Malta Tourist Authority’s discretion.

The dates of the fam trip are fixed and will take place from 2 – 5 March 2018. The prize includes return flights with EasyJet, from London Gatwick Airport to Malta on a hand baggage only fare, local transport to all activities in the programme, sharing a room with somebody of the same gender in the 5* Hilton Malta, half board and entry to all sites and activities in the fam trip programme.

Any other incidental expenses are not included in the above prizes and must be paid for by the winner. The prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, some meals, tipping or any other costs of a personal nature not stated. For the avoidance of doubt, Malta Tourist Authority and Travel Weekly will have no liability in relation to travel costs associated with travelling to or from the departure airport. The Promoter is in no way liable in the event that the trip is cancelled or postponed. In such an event the winner shall not be entitled to a replacement prize. No cash or credit alternatives are offered for any prize. The promoters are in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party web sites or home page access or where any reproduction of the information relating to this promotion misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions connected with the promotion.

Personal data will be taken where necessary from all entries received but shall be limited to those details reasonably necessary for the administration of the competition. This information may be shared with any other third parties reasonably involved in the competition without liability to Malta Tourist Authority, Travel Weekly or such third parties. Participation in the promotion constitutes the winner’s consent to Malta Tourist Authority’s and Travel Weekly’s use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Malta Tourist Authority reserves the right to cancel or amend without notice the terms of this promotion in the event of major catastrophe, war, strike, earthquake or any actual or anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other circumstance beyond the promoter’s control.

The Malta Tourism Authority accept no responsibility if flights are cancelled or changed after the booking is made due to reasons beyond its control. Winners are always advised to check online the timings of the departure and arrivals of the flights they will be travelling on.

You are required to make available the following information to the MTA prior to your flights being booked. It is your own responsibility to submit accurate information as you may be refused boarding at the airport: name as it appears on your passport, passport number and expiry date, passport country of issue, date of birth, telephone number, emergency contact name and number, place of employment.
