Luxury operator Scott Dunn is reported to have gained a foothold in Asia by acquiring bespoke Singapore-based travel company Country Holidays.
Scott Dunn will merge Country Holidays’ sales team with its own, creating a larger company with 300 employees, according to the Sunday Times.
The latest deal follows Scott Dunn’s acquisition of Aardvark Safaris’ US operation in San Diego in 2016.
Scott Dunn, which is majority owned by the private equity firm Inflexion, began as a luxury ski chalet operator in 1986.
It was founded by Andrew Dunn, who remains as global president and a significant shareholder.
The company now sells holidays across the world, with turnover expected to reach £160 million this year.
