Norwegian Cruise Line’s ship Norwegian Spirit has undergone a multi-million dollar facelift in preparation for a season in the Caribbean this winter.
The 2,376 passenger ship’s public areas, staterooms and suites have been renovated as part of the work. The ship has now started a series of 21 nine-night Exotic Western Caribbean fly-cruises from New Orleans for this winter.
Other improvements made to the ship include a new onboard wireless phone system, 11 new staterooms, eight of which have balconies, new seating and chairs in the Stardust Theatre, refurbishment of swimming pools and hot tubs, new carpets, curtains, windows and seating and an upgraded Roman Spa & Fitness Centre.
