Andorran ski resorts are preparing to open early thanks to record-breaking snow falls since early October.
The resorts of Grandvalira and Vallnord are both switching on the ski lifts and will be fully up and running by this Friday, November 28.
Ski Andorra director Marta Rotes said: “We are delighted that the snow has come early this year, the conditions are near perfect and we just had to open to take advantage of the situation.
“With a good base layer of over 85cm of snow, on average across the resorts, we look forward to a great season and welcoming our UK repeat and first time visitors over the next five months.”
