Air Southwest re-routes flights to Plymouth

Air Southwest will maintain its schedule while Newquay Airport is closed by flying to Plymouth.

Newquay Cornwall Airport will close from Monday through to December 19 due to problems with its operating licence, prompting Ryanair to cancel all flights to the town until further notice.

Air Southwest flies from Newquay to Gatwick, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Bristol, Newcastle, Glasgow, Dublin, Cork and Grenoble.

The carrier has offered to re-book displaced Ryanair passengers from Gatwick to Plymouth without charge.
