At least 100 flights from Gatwick Airport are delayed or cancelled this morning after the runway was closed due to bad weather.
The runway was closed at 6am this morning because of ice and snow flurries and was reopened at 10.30am.
So far 100 domestic and international flights have been delayed and this is likely to have a knock-on effect on the rest of the day’s schedule.
Passengers are advised to check with their airline before travelling and leave extra time to get to the airport.
