Ryanair to resume Liverpool-Shannon service after four-year gap

Flights between Liverpool John Lennon airport and the west of Ireland are to resume this summer after a four-year gap.

Ryanair is to serve Shannon three times a week between May 19 and October.

Flights last operated to Shannon from Liverpool in 2014.

Fares for the Shannon route, to be served on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays start at £19.99 one way.

Liverpool airport aviation development director Paul Winfield said; “We are delighted to see the return of Shannon to the Liverpool network for summer 2018.

“This new service will allow passengers from across the North-west market to enjoy a faster, easier, friendlier experience when travelling to and from Shannon.”
