A new adult-only Thomas Cook Sunprime hotel is to open this summer in Kos.
The 96-room Sunprime Pearl Beach in the Marmari area of the Greek island is a short walk from the operator’s Casa Cook Kos lifestyle hotel which opened last summer.
Many of the Sunprime rooms will have private pools or shared swim-up pools.
The opening in June marks a continued shift in the appeal of Kos towards a more upmarket audience, according to Thomas Cook.
Adult-only trips made up more than half of all the company’s bookings to the island last year, with 2018 set to be no different.
“We are seeing the island become increasingly popular with couples and groups of friends looking for a premium experience,” a spokeswoman said.
Offering all-inclusive as well as other board options, Sunprime Pearl Beach has been designed by architect Vana Pernari who was responsible for adult-only Casa Cook Rhodes.
The new property will include a gym as well as an extensive fitness programme, a spa and free high speed wi-fi.
Prices lead in at £747 per person for seven nights all-inclusive from Gatwick on October 1.
Sunprime Hotels is one of Thomas Cook’s seven own hotel brands and covers a portfolio of 17 properties.
