AVANI Hotels & Resorts has announced a new upscale brand called AVANI+.
The announcement coincides with the launch of its first hotel in Luang Prabang, Laos, which opened on March 1.
Thai-headquartered brand AVANI, part of the Minor Hotels group, operates more than 3,800 rooms in 15 countries and has a further 3,000 keys in the pipeline.
The AVANI+ portfolio will include hotels and resorts “showcasing the next-level in style, design and facilities”.
Each AVANI+ is designed to tell its own unique story so guests can “discover a little something extra”, from architecture to design to location.
The 53-room AVANI+ Luang Prabang, near the Mekong River, is aimed at the millennial market. It has “reimagined dining concepts” with speciality restaurants and rooftop or al fresco bars and aims to give travellers an insight into local culture, hot spots and travel tips about urban cities and off-the-beaten track destinations.
“AVANI+ hotels will elevate themselves by being more than just a unique design or the perfect city centre location,” said Alejandro Bernabé, vice president of operations for AVANI Hotels & Resorts.
“AVANI has always focused on offering the details that matter to our guests and AVANI+ will take that to the next level, infusing more style and taking a non-standard approach to our upscale hotel concept, going beyond providing premium facilities, amenities, and service.”
