A record number of agents completed online cruise courses with ACE in 2008.
As many as 14,860 travel agents improved their expertise to sell cruise after undertaking courses ranging from ‘An Introduction to Cruising’ to ‘Specialist, River and Niche Cruising’.
ACE director Andy Harmer said: “I am delighted the on-line training has proved so popular. I believe its success is a result of agents wanting to make that extra effort in becoming experts in selling cruise so they are able to provide their customers with the best possible advice and guidance.
“We are introducing new training opportunities in 2009 and the ACE UK Cruise Convention, which takes place in June, will also provide a platform for further learning.”
