Staff at Flight Centre’s have raised more than £10,000 for charity over the last year.
The money was collected through the Workplace Giving scheme which has support of 14% of its staff and allows them to donate to any charity tax free via their payroll.
The money raised means Flight Centre will soon receive the Government’s Gold Quality Mark Award for holding the the highest Workplace Giving employee uptake in the travel sector.
Flight Centre is also supporting the Geared for Giving campaign which was launched last May and aims to make workplace giving available to a million more employees by next year.
The top three charities Flight Centre has supported so far are UNICEF, Cancer Research UK and Macmillan.
