Midlands Co-op Travel is looking to expand its cruise business with the appointment of two new cruise advisers.
Mike Powell and Karen Harold, with a combined 60 years experience between them, will join several other accredited cruise experts at The Co-op to take part in sales development, staff training and development of the business.
Mike will develop business in the north and westerly regions while Karen will be responsible for the south and east.
The Midlands Co-op’s general manager Ken Smith, said: “We invest heavily in cruise training to ensure that staff deliver the highest quality of service to our customers.
“Thanks in part to the diversification of the cruise industry in recent years, this sector continues to be a growth area.
“The creation of these two new roles will enable us to further develop our expertise in this specialist area, and capitalise on projected long-term future growth of the sector.”
