Disney Cruise Lines has confirmed it will dock at Belfast Harbour for the first time next year.
Disney Magic, painted in Mickey Mouse-inspired colours, will visit the Northern Irish city as part of a seven-night British Isles cruise in September 2019.
Tony McAuley, commercial officer at Belfast Harbour, said the decision to bring Disney Magic to the city had taken “more than a year’s work”.
He said: “We continue to be committed to bringing cruise ships and tourists to Northern Ireland, adding Disney Cruise Lines to the global brands which already call in Belfast is a testament to the tourism offer and the facilities we have in Belfast Harbour.”
Belfast Harbour and Visit Belfast have announced that 2018 is expected to be a record cruise season with more than 200,000 passengers visiting the city.
