MSC Magnifica floated out

MSC Cruises’ MSC Magnifica has been floated out to the Penhoet dock at the STX Europe shipyard, previously known as Aker Yards, in Saint Nazaire, France.

MSC Magnifica is the latest MSC cruise ship and sister ship to the MSC Poesia. It is scheduled for launch in March 2010 with over 65% of all passenger cabins having their own private balcony.

Public areas will extend over 22,000 square metres and include seven themed areas, two swimming pools, four hot tubs and a 1,160 square metre MSC Aurea SPA wellness and spa treatment centre.
