Turkish Airlines is to start serving Aqaba in Jordan from its Istanbul hub.

The coastal city will become the 303rd destination served by the airline.

Turkey’s national carrier will offer three flights per week to Aqaba, with connections from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh.

It is the second city in Jordan to be served by Turkish Airlines, after Amman.

Return fares start at £420 from the UK via Istanbul.
