British Regional Airlines, the British Airways franchise carrier, takes over KLM UK’s route from Southampton to Jersey next Monday. British Regional Airlines will operate the service four times a day after winning the licence ahead of Jersey European Airways.

Singapore Airlines and British Airways have appointed QCs in an escalation of their on-going row over first-class sleeper seats (Travel Weekly June 28). BA accuses SIA of infringing patents when the rival carrier unveiled its $300m product last year. A hearing is expected by the end of the year.
