Regent Seven Seas completes $125m refurbishment programme

The final phase of Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ $125 million refurbishment programme has been completed.

Seven Seas Mariner’s bow-to-stern has undergone an upgrade after the vessel went into drydock for 20 days at Chantier Naval de Marseille, in Marseille, France.

Seven Seas Mariner is repositioning to the Pacific Northwest to take travellers on 15 seven, 10- and 11-night Alaska itineraries, which alternate departures from Vancouver and Seward.

From its drydock, the 700-passenger capacity emerged with new culinary options, suites and renewed interior spaces, the line said.

All Seven Seas Mariner’s restaurants have received a redesign, enhancing the space’s art and décor.

Flagship restaurant Compass Rose has now had crystal chandeliers and celestial blue furnishings installed.

Chartreuse Restaurant, which has replaced Signatures on board Seven Seas Mariner, has new furnishings, china, flooring and décor, plus a new modern French cuisine menu.

The library has been remodelled, relocated and crowned with a glistening copper-adorned chandelier.

Jason Montague, Regent Seven Seas Cruises’s president and chief executive, said: “With the culmination of our fleet-wide refurbishment programme, and with the construction of Seven Seas Splendor underway, we are perfecting luxury and indeed have the most luxurious fleet at sea.”
