Turkish Airways carryings rose by 24% to six million passengers in March.
The year-on-year increase helped give the airline its highest load factor in five years at 82%, up six percentage points.
The number of international passengers went up by 28%, reflecting continued growing interest in Turkey.
The March figures helped the carrier increase first quarter passenger numbers by 29% to 17 million.
The total load factor improved by 6.5 percentage points to 80.5%, a record for the first quarter.
