Flights disrupted by more snowfall

Airports across the UK have been affected by more snowfall overnight.

Luton Airport was closed this morning while the snow was cleared and around 12 flights have been cancelled. Check-in is currently suspended and flights are expected to resume at 1130am.

Birmingham International Airport has closed its runway to clear the snow leading to the cancellation of seven outbound services. The runway at East Midlands Airport is also closed while staff clear it.

Flights have also been cancelled from Belfast City Airport and planes diverted to Belfast International.
