A British Airways cabin crew member who drank vodka miniatures was found to be ten times over the legal limit for working on an aircraft, a court heard.
Patricia Casey, 51, drank eight shots while working on a flight from Singapore in February.
A passenger smelt alcohol on her breath and she was arrested at Heathrow, The Times reported.
Tests showed she had 201mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood when the legal limit for air crew is 20mg.
Casey, appearing at Uxbridge magistrates’ court, admitted performing an aviation function while impaired by drink.
She had been drinking while going through a divorce from her husband of 18 years, the court heard.
Casey, from Camberley, Surrey, was fined £300 and ordered to pay costs.
