Shearings unveils brochure catering to family market

Shearings Holidays has launched a dedicated family brochure for 2018 featuring trips to theme parks, the Italian lakes and UK attractions.

The eight-page brochure features Disneyland Paris, Dutch theme park Efteling and UK attractions such as Cadbury World and Warner Bros Studio Tour London – the Making of Harry Potter.

Short breaks designed for grandparents and grandchildren are included, as are multi-generational trips, such as cruises to Lake Como, in Italy, with A-Rosa.

For each holiday, an age group for the children is suggested – from Tiny Tots (0-4 years) to Juniors (5-10 years) and 10+.

Packages include tickets, excursions and travel, which is typically by coach in the UK, with flight and rail options in Europe.

Shearings Holidays managing director Jane Atkins said: “This new programme is very much focused on attracting multi-generational customers and features short breaks and holidays that the whole family will enjoy.”

Four nights’ room-only at an on-site hotel, tickets to Disneyland Paris, coach and ferry travel, and a three-day hopper pass to both parks, starts at £444 per adult and £274 per child.

Entry to Warner Bros Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, return coach travel to London and a night’s B&B starts at £129 for adults and £119 for children.

Seven nights’ self-catering at a Lake Como apartment for a family of up to 10 starts at £654 per adult and £589 per child, including flights and transfers.
