MSC Cruises has appointed two regional sales managers to cover central England and Ireland.
David Broad has joined the cruise line from Birmingham-based JTA Travel, where he was also a regional sales manager for cruise.
The former personal home worker at Cruise.co.uk has “an extensive background in promoting and selling cruise”.
Alana Byrne joins the MSC Ireland team from Newbridge Travel, in County Kildare, increasing the line’s Irish team to three workers.
Rebecca Kelly, who has worked for MSC in Ireland for 10 years, has also been promoted to head of sales for the Republic of Ireland.
Antonio Paradiso, MSC Cruises UK & Ireland managing director, said: “It’s such an exciting time at MSC Cruises.
“Our sales team continues to expand at a rapid pace across the UK and Ireland and shows are absolute commitment to supporting and developing our trade relationships.”
The line announced in March when it revealed Amanda Elgie had joined as regional manager for the North East and Yorkshire that it had plans to expand in Ireland.
Broad joins MSC Cruises team on May 29 and will report to Andrea Stafford, MSC’s head of retail.
The line now has increased the number of regional sales managers to eight.
