A2Btransfers rebrands as HoppaGo and boosts tech

The A2Btransfers trade brand has been retired after 13 years following a rebrand of the transfers and holiday taxis specialist to HoppaGo.

The firm, which was set up in 2005, acquired Resorthoppa from Lowcost Travel Group in 2012 before becoming the Hoppa Group. It will continue operating its B2C brand Hoppa.

Along with the rebrand, HoppaGo has launched a new website and trade technology that it says will “increase capacity tenfold” and help agents convert sales.

The supplier said it wanted to make agents’ lives easier by offering automated account reporting, a new booking engine and white-label or software integration via API connections.

Private taxi point-to-point capabilities and other flexible bookings have been added to give agents more choice.
Parent company Hoppa Group received a £5 million investment from growth capital provider Boost&Co last year to take A2Btransfers “to the next stage”.

HoppaGo chief operating officer Matt Hall said: “We are experts in our field with more than 10 years’ experience and this new platform will increase our capacity tenfold, which will assist agents with conversions.

“We are focusing this new launch on our trade partners and want agents to feel confident that we have their reputation in mind with every transfer we fulfil and that their customers will always have an efficient and reliable experience with us.”

Sales director Chris Harrington added: “We appreciate that selling ancillary products is not a priority and want to make it as easy as possible to sell ground transportation by offering a one‑stop shop offering the widest choice of options and excellent service.”

Existing A2Btransfers agents will be automatically redirected to the new site, hoppago.com. New agents can register online.
