Leger Holidays has expanded its range of battlefield tours and river cruises for 2019.
The operator, 35 years old this year, has added 18 battlefield tours and two river cruises.
The new tours are being added to Leger’s programme online and will appear in the next brochure, due out at the end of September.
New battlefield tours include a 10-day Stalingrad: Turning Point of the Eastern Front, from £2,499. Also new are an Arnhem 75th Anniversary tour and a Lancaster Bomber Experience.
The new cruise tours are a Cruise the River Seine: Normandy Coast to Paris, and a Scenic Danube Cruise plus the Highlights of the Austrian Tyrol.
Other trips introduced for next year include a seven-day Lake Geneva and the Golden Pass tour, from £995, which includes a ride on the world’s first ‘panoramic’ train. The Golden Pass railway offers specially designed panoramic windows with views of the Swiss Alps and Lake Geneva.
Also new for next year is a nine-day Romantic Venice & the Prosecco Wine Road tour.
