GALILEO has launched a new service offering companies with compatible products or services the opportunity to market themselves on the global distribution system’s Web site.
The promotional programme, Marketing Solutions, was launched this month and is designed to provide a one-stop shop for travel agencies by featuring products complementary to those of the GDS.
Companies already signed up to take space include software companies Automated Travel Systems, Discovery, Dolphin Dynamics and Teamwork Solutions and Galileo sister companies Icanos and Web Traveller.
Galileo UK general manager sales and marketing Peter Grover claimed the concept was unique among GDS companies.
