BAH introduces new city-break destinations

BRITISH Airways Holidays has introduced new destinations and multi-centre tours to its 2000 cities and short-breaks brochure which is launched this week.

It has added eight new cities to its portfolio – Edinburgh, Dubai, Madeira, Toulouse, Lyon, Bordeaux, Marrakesh and the French Riviera where it features the resorts of Juan les Pins, Cap Ferrat and St Tropez.

Cities commercial manager Brian Eustace said the operator has set up a new tailor-made service for customers to exploit the demand for two-centre breaks.”There is a growing trend for two-centre breaks so for the first time we have included a step-by-step guide to help customers and agents tailor-make their own multi-centre tours,” he said.

Two-centre prices include £429 per person for four nights in Rome at the Orazia Hotel and three nights at the Machiavelli Hotel in Florence. Flights and first-class rail travel between the cities are included.

BAH has also added capacity in its most popular cities. Ten hotels have been added in Paris, bringing the number to 50, Venice has 20, eight more than this year including seven recently opened properties while Barcelona and Madrid each have seven new choices taking their totals to 26 and 23.
