Funway Holidays is offering pre-Christmas breaks to Las Vegas for £359 per person. The price includes three nights’ accommodation at the Stratosphere Tower and Casino and flights with Continental Airlines. To qualify for the special deal, passengers must include a Saturday night stay.

Channel Islands-based airline Aurigny has appointed Graham Peck as its commercial executive following a reorganisation of its sales team. Peck was previously manager of Guernsey-based travel agency Viva Travel. His appointment follows the launch of Aurigny services from Guernsey to Stansted and Amsterdam.

Advantage Travel Centres increased the amount of its business travel bookings by 11% between July 1998 and July 1999. Bookings to Greece rose by 40%, Italy by 32% and Ireland by 26%.However, bookings to Russia have dropped by 70% and bookings to the Czech Republic have dropped by 39%. Exact figures were not available.
