IT SEEMS some people just can’t wait for the millennium. Instead of holding on for the clock to actually strike 12 on December 31, World Travel Market and Hilton have decided to host their own special celebration on November 17.
The night is billed as ‘the greatest party on earth.’ And who can blame our hosts – WTM is party time for the whole travel industry and, of course, the Backchat team. The so-called ‘real’ new millennium is bound to be a letdown in comparison.
Mindful of the need to impress us with a huge spectacle, WTM and Hilton have organised a show inside a huge marquee in Battersea Park to keep guests entertained on the big night.
