Freudmann’s ABTA directorship term ends in April

Appointed ABTA directors Steven Freudmann and John de Vial are due to end their two-year terms of office in April.

The news comes as calls are made for Freudmann’s resignation after Unpackaged Holidays went into administration.

Both directors are due to stand down at ABTA’s annual general meeting on April 29.

There are currently four appointed members on the board in total. The other two, Tim Williamson, of TUI Travel, and Stewart Baird, of Virgin Holidays, will continue in office for another year.

The ABTA board will consider further appointments to these positions at the first meeting after the AGM. Directors can be reappointed.
