Thomas Cook reps will be setting sail on NCL Freestyle Cruises in a bid to improve customer service.
The reps will be available on selected 2009 departures on board the Norwegian Gem, Jewel and Jade where they will undertake standard duties including booking excursions.
They will also offer a port-side priority check in at a branded Cruise Thomas Cook check in area.
Door-to-door chaffeur services will also be available as well as deposits of only £50 on bookings on NCL European and Mediterranean cruises booked before June 30.
It is hoped the changes will allow the two operators to inceasingly attract young couples and families.
Cruise Thomas Cook director Marc Bennett said; “As the original founder of package holidays, this is the next step in a long history of travel firsts for Thomas Cook and one which we believe will revolutionise the way people take cruises in 2009.
“As the fastest growing holiday sector in the UK, the cruise market offers exceptional value and great potential for further growth, and NCL has recognised the opportunities within the new-to-cruise and younger family markets in particular.”
