The Travel Trust Association and Worldchoice are uniting for their first joint conference under the theme of “Right Here, Right Now” over the weekend of November 21-22 at London’s Heathrow.
Previously Worldchoice agents have attended the Triton Conference. However, both TTA and Triton are still in discussions about membership of the consortium.
Up to 400 travel agents and suppliers are expected to attend the event at Sheraton Skyline Hotel. The event will include the main stage sessions and breakouts and speed-dating, as well as a lavish awards dinner which will recognise the most popular suppliers in a range of categories.
The TTA Worldchoice Cruise Club Conference will also be incorporated into the event. Breakout sessions will be run with separate streams on different issues and unique sessions for TTA and Worldchoice members.
TTA Worldchoice managing director Simon Hargreaves, said:”This is not the year to be holding a travel agents conference abroad. Time is money, and when times are tough both are in short supply, so we are making it easy for members to attend and we are keeping their costs down to a minimum.
“This is the first time that TTA and Worldchoice have come together properly in significant numbers and we will be looking to help our members to set up deals that will see their businesses grow in 2010”.
