Airtours Holidays has threatened to cut back agents marketing support for next winter’s brochures if they do not improve conversion rates.
Sales, marketing and development director Ed Sims was speaking at the launch of the operator’s winter 2000/2001 brochures. He said those agents who are good at early sales will be targeted with the brochures.
Airtours goes on sale on October 27 with prices up on average 3%, followed by Thomson and First Choice the next day. JMC is issuing a winter preview brochure at the beginning of November.
