Option one: Benjamin Roberts dress

Sarah felt like a Princess when she slipped into this beautiful dress by Benjamin Roberts. “It’s what every girl dreams of walking down the aisle in!”

Option two: Mori Lee strapless dress

This classic and elegant dress by Mori Lee is part of the designer’s ‘Voyager’ collection; very light and comfortable this dress would be perfect for Sarah’s wedding in a warm and exotic climate!

Option three: Mori Lee halterneck dress

Also designed by Mori Lee is this sensational halterneck number, with just the right amount of added sparkle! Sarah describes this dress as flattering and extremely glamorous.

Meet the maid of honour

Sarah Wright says:

This opportunity is like winning the lottery for Sarah and my brother, David.  I was so thrilled when Sarah asked me to be maid of honour and I’ve been so excited that I’ve already prepared my speech!

I could not have wished for a better sister-in-law. David is a very lucky man.”

Carolyn Atherton says:

Sarah is over the moon! I was so pleased for her when she and David got engaged, and winning this prize is her dream.

Not only is this going to be a fantastic day for Sarah and David, it’s going to be an amazing holiday for the whole family!

And what a great excuse to get some posh new frocks!”

About Sarah and David

Our lucky winner, Sarah Atherton, 24, is a travel consultant with Dawson and Sanderson in Hull and has been with her partner David Kyrianou, 27, for nearly two years.

The couple, who live in Hull, met in London while Sarah was working as a cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic and David was on an IT course.

Sarah, who has been working in travel since she was 17, said: “We thought we would have to wait until 2011 to get married because David is working in retail on part-time hours due to the recession. I thought I’d give it a go but I never imagined I would win!

“I hope the travel agents are nice to me, but I’m not worried because they’ve got good taste. This is my first proper cruise so it’s extra exciting!”

Sarah’s bridegroom, David, says:  ” I could not believe it when Sarah called me and told me that she’d won the competition. I’ve always wanted to go on a cruise ship so it’s even more special to be getting married at sea by the Captain.”

Sarah’s entry caught the judges’ eye because her wedding plans were being hampered by the recession.
