An outdoor concert is to be held in the honour of trainee travel agent Chloe Rutherford and her boyfriend Liam Curry lost their lives in the Manchester terrorist attack last year.
Chloe, 17, who was an apprentice at Westoe Travel, and Liam, 19, were among 22 people killed in the devastating incident at the Manchester Arena at the end of an Ariana Grande concert.
The Together Forever Live event is to be held in their home town of South Shields on August 12.
The afternoon concert in tribute to Chloe and Liam will be headlined by local lad and former X Factor winner Joe McElderry.
Speaking to the local Chronicle Live, McElderry said: “What happened was an unimaginable tragedy for all involved and anything I could do for the families affected is an honour to me.
“Young lives were taken far too soon; I’m honoured to be asked to perform and I know the North East community will support this worthy cause.”
Also on the bill for Together Forever Live are Lauren Amour, Dan Elliot, Lewis Curry Duo, Taylor Payne, DJ Cee – Curtis Robinson and others.
