Cruise ship Sun Princess now features a redesigned youth centre, new staterooms and revamped onboard shopping following a two-week refit in Singapore.
The revamp comes as part of a £330m investment across Princess Cruises’ 17-ship fleet.
On board Sun Princess, passengers aged three to 17 can now use new youth centre Camp Discovery, created in partnership with the Discovery Channel.
Princess Cruises’ premium stateroom category – club class mini-suites – have also been installed on the 2,000-passenger capacity ship.
In addition, an Effy Fine Jewellery boutique and designer brands, including Burberry, Coach, Longchamp and Guess have been introduced to the on board shopping options.
Princess Cruises’ signature logo now decorates the ship’s bow.
Sun Princess is currently sailing in south-east Asia before returning to Australia for the 2019 winter season.
The ship’s itineraries begin on the western coast before transitioning to the eastern coast and New Zealand.
In 2020, Sun Princess will operate as a floating hotel during the Tokyo Olympics to help support the city’s tourist accommodation.
The vessel will be chartered by a Japanese travel agency for 19 days.
