Royal Caribbean International and Dubai’s tourism and entertainment complex Dubailand have agreed a strategic marketing partnership.
Under the deal the cruise company will include Dubailand live attractions in its programme of shore excursions and Dubailand will promote Royal Caribbean International’s Dubai cruises.
The agreement comes in time for introduction of seven-night sailings on board Brilliance of the Seas from Dubai between January and April 2010.
Dubailand senior vice-president Mohammed Al Habbai said: “Our agreement can be recognised as a world-class initiative to add value to the emirate’s economy, increase visitor numbers and enhance the customer experience in Dubai and the region for residents and visitors.
“We are confident the deal will result in creating synergies that will contribute to the growth of regional and international tourism.”
Royal Caribbean International president and chief executive Adam Goldstein said: “The partnership has been entered into at an opportune time as we gear up for the launch of our first Arabian dedicated season.
“It will help us actively promote our Gulf cruises and land programmes while enhancing the Dubai offering for our mutual customers.
