An infographic detailing the longest cruise to be undertaken by Voyages to Antiquity has been issued to help agents promote the 129-day voyage.
The extended cruise departing before the end of the year covers more than 40 ports in 22 countries.
The ‘grand odyssey’ departs from Athens on December 9 and ends on April 13, 2019 in Malaga and combines all five of the line’s winter itineraries.
Destinations covered by the cultural cruise line’s ship Aegean Odyssey include Africa, India, Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, Singapore, the Seychelles, the Maldives and Reunion Island.
Prices start at £21,150 per person, including return flights, 56 guided tours, 12 hotel stays, all meals and wine with dinner and gratuities.
“With so many destinations on offer, the infographic has been produced to help showcase this remarkable intercontinental journey in a visual and fun way,” the line said.
Managing director Jos Dewing said: “We were unsure how popular such a long cruise would be when we launched the programme but incredibly, over 15% of the passengers who have booked our first winter cruise, Athens to Mumbai, will in fact be staying on-board for the entire ‘grand odyssey’.
“We took a gamble on longer voyages for this programme as standard but to see such numbers on the full cruise is exciting, it will be a truly epic adventure and is well captured and illustrated by this fun infographic”.
