Former Premier Holidays head of faraway product David Carlaw is to head Asian in-bound operator Diethelm Travel Group in the UK.
He has been named as UK sales representative by the company, which covers Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
Carlaw has nearly 25 years focusing on product management and contracting within the Asia Pacific region.
“With in-depth knowledge of Asia travel, Carlaw will be able to provide outstanding value to Diethelm Travel partners on the ground in the UK,” the Bangkok-based company said.
He helped grow Premier Holidays’ Far East programme into worldwide coverage, including South Africa, Australia and India brochures.
Carlaw has direct experience contracting for Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, The Maldives, Hong Kong and China.
